Alexa’s experience in marketing and event planning for major brands like Etsy and SoulCycle during their Canadian expansion brought a fresh, innovative approach, while Aja’s decade-long experience in weddings and personal events added a traditional, personal touch.

Their shared passion for creating memorable events led them to start planning weddings and other occasions on weekends, even as they continued their corporate work. What began as a weekend side hustle soon grew into a full-time business, and Duet was born.
