Alexa and Aja were colleagues in the corporate world in 2018, where they worked together on numerous corporate events all over North America. Prior to this, Alexa worked in marketing and events alongside brands such as Etsy and SoulCycle as they expanded into Canada. Aja comes with a more traditional background, having worked in the wedding and personal event space over the span of ten years.

Alexa and Aja came together to share their passion for weddings, families and events with the world. They started planning events on weekends as they continued their corporate work. Their hobby and side hustle quickly became a full time business. Before they knew it, Duet was born.
